This Privacy Policy describes how Velveteen Technologies Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “influx.to”), a British Columbia corporation, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the influx.to email marketing platform. By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
- Account information (email address, password)
- Contact data you import into the platform (subscriber email addresses, names)
- Campaign content you create
- Campaign performance metrics (open rates, click rates, delivery status)
- Session data and usage logs generated when you use our service
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to:
- Deliver the email campaigns and automations you configure
- Provide campaign performance tracking and analytics
- Manage your account and provide customer support
- Improve and maintain the platform
We never use your data for advertising. We never sell your data.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase PostgreSQL databases. Email delivery is handled by Resend. All data is transmitted over TLS and encrypted at rest. We apply industry-standard security practices to protect your account and subscriber data.
5. Your Contact Data
You are the data controller of your subscriber list. influx.to acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate consent to email your subscribers and that your use of the platform complies with applicable anti-spam laws (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR as applicable).
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@influx.to. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
influx.to uses a single session cookie to maintain your authenticated session (provided by Supabase Auth). We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or analytics cookies that share data with external parties.
9. Children
Our service is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
